Helping With Horsepower

We would like to invite you to a "LAUNCH PARTY", at Chuck Franklin's booth located at Westworld of Scottsdale, on April 7 from 3:00-6:00 pm. Come meet Diva Amy, Katie Smetana of Desert Foothills Family YMCA, Chuck Franklin, Suzy and Paul Yaffe, and more. Most important of all, meet some of the kids that will be participating in the Helping With Horsepower™ Bike Rebuild program! We would like to encourage all who would like to teach, mentor, sponsor, and volunteer to help with the program to come and meet everyone. We will have a raffle and refreshments to celebrate!
"Diva Amy's fundraising efforts through her annual "Team Diva Helping With Horsepower™" Ride and Drive" allowed a considerable donation to the YMCA for their program launch," stated Laura Klock, Helping With Horsepower™ founder.
"We would like to personally thank all of the previous sponsors, contributors, and participants who helped us reach our goal of starting the Helping with Horsepower™ program in Arizona. This is a wonderful and meaningful community effort, and it takes a team to make it all successful!" stated Diva Amy Skaling, Team Diva.
Katie Smetana, Executive Director at the YMCA, along with her leadership team, will begin promoting and taking applications for the HWH Bike Rebuild program, with plans to start transforming their project motorcycle in August, 2016. There will be room for 20-25 kids to participate and we hope to have the completed bike by spring of 2017, for an unveiling at Arizona Bike Week. Diva Amy and Team Diva Helping With Horsepower™ will also be on hand to take volunteer applications and share information about the HWH Bike Rebuild Program on Saturday, April 9 from 12-3 pm at the 50th Anniversary Buddy Stubbs Bike Week Bash in H-D, 13850 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022. FREE Admission, live music, and more.
